What are we trying to solve?
- We’re building robotics to automate the entire chain of inventory management and pick/pick processes within the pharmacy.
- Although we are nominally assembling hardware, we are really building a process solution for what can be characterized as a last-mile logistics environment.
- Our product needs to be:
- Intuitive
- Reliable
- Scalable
- Economic
What you’ll generally be doing
- Investigating features to simplify robot construction, installation, and maintenance
- Validating and refining design concepts through continuous experimentation
- Ensuring design performance and robustness via systematic testing
Who you are
- You’re confident in your abilities, but you know the limitations of your knowledge.
- You continuously seek and incorporate feedback.
- You understand that there’s a large gap between theory and reality, which must be bridged through application.
- You know how to navigate uncertainty, figure things out, and the initiative to identify and proactively solve.
- You’re adept at communicating and collaborating.
- We’re a team working towards a shared goal, which means that progress is measured by collective outcomes.
Requirements
- You have to be able to CAD.
- You have to know how to take that CAD from drawing to reality.
- You probably should have a good grasp of various motion components.
- Alternatively, you have both the capability and internal motivation to learn all of the above really, really quickly.
